The Avodah Built Way
Pre-Construction
1. The Floor Plan
We go through your needs, your lifestyle and get your floor plan fine tuned. Planning is key up front and will make the process much smoother. It’s much easier to adjust now.
2. Budget Setting
With the floorplan finalized, general vision set. We can now price your custom build. We can price the wants and the needs, tweak as necessary to keep the budget in mind.
3. Design Phase
The sky is the limit (actually the budget..), but we can help you with your selections to keep on track. There is a lot to pick when it comes to finish, but we can make it a little easier.
4. The Construction
With finishes selected, we can finalize price and get a construction contract ready. We will review and sign.
5. Time to build!
Avodah Developments will obtain permits and approvals for your build. We’re ready to build!
Construction Walkthroughs
Avodah Developments conducts several site checks after each completion mark. We also facilitate client walk-throughs at 5 stages for specific reasons.
1. Framing
This is the stage where your home is closed in and the fun begins inside. Will walk through the flow of your home for the very first time in person.
2. Electrical
This gives you a chance anything before the drywall makes it trickier to move something or having to cut apart your new home.
3. Drywall
This is where rooms take their shape and you can really start to see it coming together. We will go over closet shelving and any millwork details not yet finalized.
4. Flooring & Cabinets
Home stretch! This is where you get to see all the major selections come to life in your home. If there are some small final decisions to be made, they’ll be made here.
5. Final Walkthrough
We’ll through and go over final items remaining, making it sure everything is just right. Possession will be very soon!
Warranty
Yes, we have a warranty program! We’ve partnered with Progressive New Home Warranty to bring you one of the best warranty packages in the industry.
1 Year Materials & Labour Warranty
In the first year we warrant against any and all defects in workmanship and materials that may occur during the first year after completion.
2 Year Mechanical Systems Warranty
In the second year our warranty extends to the mechanical systems that keep the home comfortable. Coverage includes materials and labour supplied for the gas, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning delivery systems.
5 Year Water Penetration Warranty
For 5 years you will have coverage against water penetration through foundation walls.
10 Year Structural Defect Warranty
You can also sleep sound knowing the very heart of
the home’s structure will be covered for 10 full years
to a maximum of $60,000. It covers any defect in materials and labour that results in a failure of
the load bearing components of the home, or the structural damage that might result from such a failure.
